Participation to the "Second European General Assembly of IHY", Torino (Italy) June 18-22, 2007
COST 296/IHY Calendar 2007-2008. It has been officially presented at the Headquarter of Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia (INGV) in Rome on September 20th. The Calendar includes 25 drawings made by children coming from 8 different European Countries: Checz Republic, Cyprus, Finland, France, Italy, Poland, Spain, UK. The winners have been officially awarded during the event.

COST 296 contributes to The Whole Heliosphere Interval targeted campaigns from March 20 to April 16 (http://ihy2007.org/WHI/targeted_plans.shtml). The COST 296 supports the first one of the Geospace Targeted Observing Campaigns (http://ihy2007.org/WHI/teccampaign.shtml) with regular Vertical Sounding measurements and TEC measurements. European digisondes observation campaign (in Drift mode) aimed at measuring the ionospheric E layer height variations by taking advantage of the Precision Group Height Measurement technique (PGHM). The COST296 campaign met the objectives of the Third CAWSES Global Tidal campaign scheduled for 1 June to 14 August 2007.
